Shepreth Wildlife Park

The other day was sunny and lovely, and we packed up the kids to go to the local 'wildlife park', which turned out to be a zoo. A surprisingly great zoo! There was almost no one else there on a weekday, so we practically had the place to ourselves. It's not  terribly big or diverse, and then pens for the animals are probably a bit too small for comfort. But the visibility was excellent, even for the little kids.  There was also an indoor soft play centre, ball pit, and climbing gym - plus a fabulous outdoor playground.

This is the bravest she's ever been, letting ducks eat out of her hands!

 Easy viewing!

A graveyard for zoo creatures past.

 Lovely amazing spectacular creatures.
After viewing for 5 seconds, Aili asked: "Can we go see the ducks now, Mom?"  Sigh.

They could NOT take their eyes off the peacock.
Possibly because it's the only bird dumb enough not to run away from Tomi.

This bravery thing is catching on!

See the baby joey peeking out of the pouch?

Not interested in spending too much time looking at the real thing,
but it sure is fun to ride one!
