Rough Night, Rough Day

It's been a trying time. There has been talk of having her be raised by wolves - or at least by Leo. Between us we have 62 years of life experience, 10 years of post-secondary education, and have travelled through foreign cultures and languages around the world. But we are being seriously challenged by a two-week old.
I find it particularly tiring because there is no rest if you have to provide sustenance every few hours. I try to give Johnny blocks of time to sleep, so he can hold me together the rest of the time.

Anyway, enough griping. Here are a few pics to remind us all of why we're doing this.

It LOOKS like baby pilates, but really it's supposed to help with - ahem - passing gas. Oh, the things you do as a parent....

Daddy's girl:

In the bath. Check out that birthmark! She will probably be distressed about it when she's... oh, fifteen... and wants to wear a bikini.

Oh so purty.

Welcome to the club! Isn't it amazing how quick and drastic it is how you are no longer in control of your life? We promise, it does get better.
Good luck you guys! We're thinking of you all!
