We ARE trying a new type of diaper. I know, I know, this is not very newsworthy, but if the diapers are good, then they will be newsworthy. They're some Swedish design, and made from ... corn. Yup, like the kind on the cob. But they have no plastic in them at all, are biodegradable, and even compostable. (Composting is on our to-do list this summer. Then again, so was lawn care, and if you've been over to our place recently you'll know how effective we've been at checking things off the to-do list lately.)
Anyway, these Nature Babycare diapers ("Go green without giving up performance") are even thinner than our Seventh Generation ones, and apparently work as well or better than regular disposables. I'll keep you posted on their performance.
But so far they're pretty darned cute! I like the little green leaves all over them.
Ahhh... Cheerios. The old staple.
I'm telling you, that kid could out-eat me in Cheerios, she likes them that much.
It's been raining a bit, which is nice for the lawn (see 'neglect of lawn care' above), but not so nice to go walking in. BUT, it does allow us to break out the new raincoat! So it's not all bad.
And how cute, may I ask, is the new raincoat???
Yup, that's her hairstyle every day. I'm sure someday it will sit flat.
In some pictures she doesn't look like a baby anymore; she looks like a kid. This is one of those photos:

We are using those diapers now here in UK, we like so far, no leaks! But no major, um, challenges yet.
Back home tomorrow, would like to find out how you got 'em!
