Vancouver, Your Beaches are a Joke

Imagine a hot sunny day.
Imagine brightly coloured beach towels and the coconut smell of sunscreen.
Imagine just enough sea breeze to help keep you cool.
Imagine easy parking, public restrooms, and a cute little main street with ice cream stands and umbrella rentals.

 Look right.
Beach umbrellas and sand for as far as the eye can see.

Look left.
Look! A cute little Peanut collecting shells in the sand!

Look at your children playing with your sister, with the wide Atlantic beyond.
That water they're playing in is left over from the tide. It's hot. Like as hot as I'd run a bath for myself.
And the waves beyond are as warm as a bath for the kids.
There's no shock when you get in, and you can stay as long as you like without getting goose bumps or blue lips!

Now THAT, my friends, is what a visit to the beach should be like!
