Our hosts recommended that we try out the pub in the next village. So when the sun was out and everyone was feeling well, off we went!
The 'Pig and Abbot'.
Complete with flowers in the window boxes, a back seating area, and a friendly resident puppy dog.
They even had games and blocks for the kids to play with!
Supper: Johnny had tikka masala, rice and naan.
I had steak and ale pie with mash. So very English!
